2020 Round Up

Well. If you had asked me to predict what the season would bring at the time I bought Whippet it would have looked nothing like reality.

Having bought the barge I had some wonderful warm days below with the log burner soaking up the atmosphere. Managed to rig out early and get a dry dock in at Faversham before sailing to what has turned out to be her home berth since, North Fambridge on the river Crouch.

And then there was lockdown and serious family illness which has meant a very limited season. The turn of the year and we can look forward to a better 2021 hopefully from late Spring after the new lockdown.
